Palmer Township police Friday released surveillance photos of a man returning items to a Lehigh Valley Mall store that had been stolen earlier in the day from a garage at a township home.
Police were looking for tips on his identity. They were also looking to hear from law enforcement agencies investigating similar incidents possibly perpetrated by the same man, according to a news release from the department.
The Palmer burglary occurred Monday at a home in the first block of Stonecreek Court. The perpetrator entered a vehicle in the driveway and used the garage door opener to gain access to the garage, police said.
Inside the garage, a second vehicle was entered, and clothing and a vacuum cleaner were taken, police said.
The man caught on camera was seen returning these items about 11:30 a.m. at the mall, according to police.
