It obliges to convert 53,000 employees with discontinuous permanent contracts into ordinary permanent workers
MADRID, 2 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Labor and Social Security Inspectorate has regularized more than 17,500 false self-employed workers between January and July of this year, as reported by the Secretary of State for Employment, Joaquín Pérez Reyes, during the press conference to present the affiliation and unemployment data corresponding to the seventh month of the year.
Pérez Reyes has pointed out that this data has had an impact on the number of affiliates in the sector of self-employed workers, where the Self-Employed Regime (RETA) lost 6,819 affiliates (-0.2%), which placed the total of self-employed contributors in 3,344,562.
It has also highlighted that, between January and July of this year, around 53,000 contracts have been transformed from discontinuous permanent to ordinary permanent, after inspection campaigns carried out by the Ministry of Labour.
