A large fire broke out Sunday morning at Highway Marine in Richland Township, prompting a partial closure of Route 309 around the business, according to a published report.
WFMZ-69 News is reporting several fire companies at the scene of the business, 875 N. West End Blvd. Traffic is partially blocked at crews work to bring the blaze under control.
Marine Highway has been a family-owned business since 1977. The building includes a 30,000-square-foot showroom and 18-bay service department. The business has at least 200 boats in its inventory, according to its website.
The business indicated on social media it was closed during the time of the fire.
