An Italian cafe in LaSalle was targeted by gunshots that pierced its front window, on the night of Thursday to Friday, in Montreal.
The gun violence event occurred around 2 a.m. at Café Intervallo Bistro-Bar, located on Newman Boulevard near the intersection of Thierry Street.
A suspect wearing dark clothes approached the business and opened fire several times in the direction of the café-bar.
At least three projectile impacts were visible on the front window of the business.
No one was injured during this event. The café had been closed since midnight at the time of the incident.
The police met the owner of the place, who says he does not understand who could be angry with him.
At the start of the day on Friday, investigators moved to the scene to analyze the scene, while forensic identification technicians were also on site to collect evidence.
The images of surveillance cameras installed in the area were also to be viewed in an attempt to identify a potential suspect in this case.
