Education officials in the Lehigh Valley and Warren County weren’t waiting for the first flakes to fall to call off school Thursday.

The National Weather Service says to expect snow to start falling between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 4 a.m. Thursday across the region, beginning from west to east. The heaviest snow, with rates of up to 2 inches an hour, is expected between 3 a.m. and noon Thursday.

Allentown School District. District offices are also closed.

Belvidere School District.

Bethlehem Area School District. District offices also closed.

Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School.

Bethlehem Catholic High School.

Catasauqua School District.

Easton Area School District.

Franklin Township Elementary School.

Hackettstown School District. No after-school or evening activities Thursday.

Harmony Township School.

Hope Township School.
