Lidl reinforces its proposal of BIO products in its supermarkets in Spain, which currently has a total of more than 180 products in this category between fixed assortment and seasonal assortment, and is the main buyer of BIO fruit and vegetables from the Spanish orchard, according to The banner has reported in a statement.

70% of the BIO products offered in its fixed assortment are produced in Spain and many are exported to other countries where they operate.

In this way, with a volume of 66,755 tons per year, Lidl is the main buyer of BIO fruit and vegetables from the Spanish orchard. Of this amount, close to 90% is exported to the rest of the European countries in which the company has a presence.
