Weslaco’s Taqueria El Compadre’s 24-ring of tacos de bistec formed into a heart will give sweethearts the chance to eat to their heart’s desire. Four cups of beans and all the fixings complete the meal for $28.99.

If the 8-hour round-trip drive to Weslaco is too far, but puro plans are still in the works, San Antonio’s Alamo Candy Co. is selling heart-shaped containers filled with picositas belts and cherry bombs.
