The Rose City Yarn Crawl is drawing near. It’s set for Thursday, March 2, through Sunday, March 5. This year’s theme is “Portland Pastimes.” Here’s an update from the Crawl: “Each RCYC Shop will feature a knit pattern – and many will also feature a crochet pattern – based on their favorite pastimes. These patterns will be free with shop purchase” during the four days of the Crawl.” The big reveal of all these patterns is set for Wednesday, Feb. 15. And there’s more: The Crawl’s starting to update its website with listings of the special events taking place at each shop during the Crawl. As expected, they are amazing. Standouts so far: Portland Designers and Knitted Wit Trunk Show at For Yarn’s Sake; Boss Kitty Trunk Show at Starlight Knitting Society; Irish Tea Time at Dublin Bay Knitting Co.; and a Stitch Jones Trunk Show at The Naked Sheep Knit Shop.
