While a dusting of snow is possible on Thursday in North Jersey, another taste of spring is just around the corner.

Forecasters say the next two days will be typical of February, but Saturday and Sunday will be quite mild.
Thursday will be chilly and blustery under partly sunny skies, the National Weather Service says. Highs will reach 38 in Newark, 40 in Trenton and 41 in Atlantic City. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
In North Jersey, scattered snow showers are possible during the day. Though most spots should only get a dusting, localized amounts up to an inch are possible, the weather service says in its morning forecast discussion.
Winds will diminish overnight but temps will drop into the teens and low 20s.

Friday is likely to be mostly sunny, but chilly with temps in the upper 30s and low 40s.
It warms up nicely over the weekend with a pair of pleasant days on tap. Highs will climb to the low 50s on Saturday and be even warmer the following day. Forecasters say parts of South Jersey will reach 60 on Sunday afternoon.
While temperatures will be well above the low 40s for highs typical of February, they’ll still be well short of any records. The record highs for Feb. 18 and 19 in Trenton are 71 and 68, respectively, according to AccuWeather.com.
