For five days, the Parc des expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte was filled with novelties from the world of design and decoration, on the occasion of Maison & Objet 2021. But, all good things have an end and the September 2021 edition of the show closed Monday, September 13, at 18h. The closing of the show is however to be taken with philosophy since after repeated cancellations and 100% virtual editions, the event of the fall finally marks the return of the Maison & Objet show in its physical version. After this successful start, the brand is already meeting in January, from 20 to 24, for the first edition of 2022. The Digital Days, return from October 18 to 24 to zoom in on the queen theme of the September 2021 edition of the show: Desirable Development. As for the Maison & Objet academy, a streaming channel launched on September 1st by the brand, it regularly offers exclusive content on everything related to decoration and design. Available by subscription, the videos broadcast are mainly aimed at professionals in the sector like the show. Moreover, for consumers who have not been able to go to the exhibition, the novelties and latest trends spotted during the show should be in stores in a few weeks. Salon Maison & Objet: how to access it?
The September 2021 edition of Maison & Objet took place in Paris-Nord Villepinte at the Parc des expositions. Free shuttles were set up to transport visitors from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to the lounge with departures every 30 minutes between 9h and 12h. Returns were from 18h to 19h30 and from 17h to 18h30 on the last day.
The location of the next edition in January 2022 is not yet confirmed but if it takes place in the same place, you can get there by car via the A104 motorway. On-site car parks make parking possible. The Parc des expositions is also served by public transport with the RER B line towards Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, stop Parc des Expositions.

What was the theme of the show in September 2021?
Maison & Objet is used to presenting different themes and/or specialties from the world of design and decoration, but each year it focuses on a new theme that is in tune with the times. After the (RE)generation in January 2020, the event lingered in the edition of the fall 2021 on the Desirable Development. According to Vincent Grégoire, director of Trends & Insights at the Nelly Rodi agency, the notion is tending to become the next mode of consumption that is more responsible, reasoned and “ethical”. It is an invitation to rethink consumer habits
