An Altamonte Springs woman who sat in the passenger seat of her car and video-recorded her 7-year-old son as he drove it down a residential street has pleaded no contest to a pair of criminal charges and been placed on probation.

Kwaniqua Glenn, 25, was arrested in October after she posted the video on social media.

On Thursday in a Sanford courtroom she pleaded no contest to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and allowing an unauthorized person drive a motor vehicle.

Circuit Judge Debra Nelson placed her on 12 months of probation and ordered her to take a parenting class and a driver improvement class.

No one was hurt when the boy drove down a Seminole County street at an average speed of 28 mph on Sept. 20.

According to Glenn’s arrest report, she picked up the boy from a bus stop, told him to get behind the wheel, then video-recorded their trip, which lasted about one-third of a mile.
