Movistar’s Conexión Segura service has filtered a total of 270 cyberthreats in the last year (from March 2022, shortly after the start of the war in Ukraine, to March 2023).
This free service, which protects users’ browsing in real time, prevented more than half of the operator’s customers from accessing malicious sites.
For example, in the last month, navigation on certain websites was blocked on more than 250,000 devices when they tried to access pages with ‘malware’ or ‘phishing’.
Conexión Segura, which currently has 1.2 million active fixed and mobile lines and can be activated through the Movistar website, in its stores, 1004 or WiFi applications.
