Icy road conditions have prompted some New Jersey school districts to announce a delayed opening on Monday morning.

Areas of black ice forming on untreated surfaces could produce slippery travel for the morning commute, the National Weather Service says.

There is also a high wind warning and a wind advisory in effect around the state this morning.

Here’s a county-by-county look at districts which will open late this morning. Counties with just one closing are also listed below:

  • Essex – Livingston (2 hours delay)
  • Hunterdon – Clinton Township (2 hours)
  • Morris
  • Somerset
  • Union
  • Warren – Warren Hills Regional (2 hour)
