OHLA has been awarded the construction of the new Vithas Valencia Turia Hospital for an amount exceeding 30 million euros, thus expanding the company’s portfolio of hospital infrastructures in Spain, as reported by the group in a press release this Wednesday. .

The company has detailed that this hospital will have a total constructed area of ​​27,241 square meters and has reported that it is already carrying out the foundation and structure. OHLA will also be in charge of the phase that includes architecture and facilities.

The new building will be made up of two floors below ground for parking and other uses, as well as six floors above ground for hospital use.

It will also have emergency and staff parking, a maneuver yard, general services, pharmacy, laboratory and physiotherapy, imaging diagnostics, boxes, multipurpose room, CT and MRI area.

To this are also added the consultation area, the surgical area, the maternal and child area, the medical area, the ICU, the Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit, the Non-Admission Surgery Unit, boxes, warehouses or the hospitalization area.

Regarding accessibility, the main lobby will be located in the center of the building and will collect the main pedestrian flow from the different access points to the plot.

The building has an accessible route that connects the main entrance with the public road and the outdoor common areas such as gardens and pedestrian areas.

Likewise, the company has highlighted that the infrastructure has sustainability and innovation criteria in its design and construction.
