An 80-year-old woman woke up early Friday morning when gunfire came through the bedroom wall of her Polish Hill home, according to police.
The incident happened just after 2:30 a.m. on Revere Way, according to Public Safety spokeswoman Emily Schaffer.
Officers tried to make contact with the woman's neighbors without success, Schaffer said, prompting a SWAT call out. SWAT teams entered the house next door shortly before 4:30 a.m. and found 30-year-old Justin McQuade inside
Investigators also found several guns in the house, along with bullet holes in walls throughout the house, Schaffer said. Animal Control took one dog form the home as well.
McQuade is charged with reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.
