A 47-year-old man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Orange County Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Two men, who haven’t been identified, were driving north in a pickup truck along State Road 520 near State Road 528 about 6:30 p.m., highway patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.

The driver slammed on the brakes and rear ended an SUV that was hauling a boat, Montes said.

The truck then overturned on the side of the road, ejecting the passenger, Montes said.

The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

No one else was injured in the accident.

No other details were immediately released.
