Two people were arrested Wednesday in a fraudulent prescription scheme in Ocoee, police said.
Officers had been investigating the incident for two weeks after finding fraudulent prescriptions had been used to get drugs at local pharmacies, Ocoee police Sgt. Mark Olson said.
Police searched a home on Trancas Court, north of Colonial Drive and found more than 111 blank stolen prescriptions along with several prescriptions and drug paraphernalia, Olson said.
Olson said investigators are still going through the drugs to identify them but many of prescriptions were for Xanax.
Jessica Whitfill, 24, and Sommer Shope, 39, were arrested Wednesday.
Whitfill faces charges in obtaining drugs by fraud, uttering forged prescription and fraudulent use of personal identification.
Shope is facing a charge of possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
Olson said more charges are pending.
