The name of the Quebec Remparts pilot appeared alongside those of Jim Hulton (Charlottetown Islanders) and Stéphane Julien (Sherbrooke Phoenix) in the press release published Tuesday by the Courteau circuit.

Roy led the Remparts to first place overall with a 51-15-2 record, earning the Capitale-Nationale team the Jean-Rougeau trophy. His troop must face the Shawinigan Cataractes in the third round of the playoffs.

Hulton and Julien, for their part, will try to win this distinction for a second time. Julien won it at the end of the 2019-2020 season, then Hulton followed suit the following year.
