GALLOWAY TWP — A 35-year-old man was struck and killed by a car Monday evening on an Atlantic County road.
The man, who was not named pending notification of his family, was hit by a 2007 Toyota Camry on Chris Gaupp Drive in the area of Garfield Avenue at 5:48 p.m., police said.
The man pronounced dead at the scene. The 27-year-old driver from Galloway Township was not injured, police said.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.
