Three people were injured in a road trip in Rosemère, in the Laurentians, Tuesday evening.
Emergency services and patrol officers were called around 10:15 p.m. for a collision that occurred on Highway 640 eastbound, near Montée Lesage.
According to initial information, the driver of a small vehicle tried to join the A-640, when another vehicle was changing lanes.
Wanting to avoid the collision, the 18-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle, having to roll over in a ditch, said a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
The driver and the two passengers, including a 19-year-old woman, managed to eject themselves from the vehicle before it caught fire, said the SQ.
The three victims were transported to a hospital for injuries that are not life-threatening, it was added.
