In a night dominated by ads, one stuck out more than even the game during which it was aired.
At least for some people.
After the series released a still photo promoting its second season, fans of Stranger Things, the breakout hit from Netflix last year, got their first glimpse of actual footage from the next season.
For many people the sight of their favorite characters, clad in ’80s gear and with a gratuitous nod to waffles, was more entertaining than the football game, which was a blowout by the time the ad was featured.
The Stranger Things trailer has been the best thing about this Superbowl.
