“Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 16 will revolve around Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) biggest fight.
In “The Allowance Evaporation,” Amy will discover that Sheldon shared intimate details about their relationship to his peers at the university. Amy, who happens to be a very private person, won’t be happy about what Sheldon did. When she confronts him, Sheldon starts to become a little bit too defensive. But by the looks of it, Amy and Sheldon will still figure out a way to fix their issues.
Previously, Amy became a little emotional while talking to Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch). When Penny said that she is worried about having kids since she and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) have been married for two years, Amy told her that she’s even more worried and sad over the fact that she and Sheldon aren’t married yet. Amy said that she has no idea if Sheldon has any plans to marry her.
What Amy doesn’t know is that Sheldon already planned to propose to her in Season 9. However, it didn’t push through, and the engagement ring storyline was never explored in the hit CBS sitcom again. While speaking with Glamour in May 2016, executive producer Steve Molaro explained that the engagement ring storyline is still floating around, but no concrete plans have been made. “If and when something feels right to us, then it will happen. But also, those kinds of moves can affect what the show is,” he said.
At the time, Molaro also said that they will be giving more emphasis on everyone’s living arrangement on “Big Bang Theory,” and this is exactly what they did at the beginning of Season 10.
“Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 16 will air on CBS on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
