Weather is causing traffic delays Thursday morning, even without ice or snow. High winds have caused lines to come down in Tigard at Southwest Pfaffle Street near 83rd Avenue just east of Hall Boulevard. Watch for PGE crews there.

In Vancouver, SR 500 and Dresser Roads eastbound lanes are blocked due to downed lines at 244th Avenue, north of Camas.

If you see downed power lines, call PGE or police agencies. Don’t approach them.

DOWNTOWN 7:08 a.m.; Currently West Burnside Street is BLOCKED at 12th Avenue for a commercial fire.

CARVER 6:55 a.m.; Downed tree blocking Clackamas River Drive approximately two miles from Carver.

DOWNTOWN 6:40 a.m.; Stalled semi blocks the center lane I-405 northbound on the ramp to the Fremont Bridge. Traffic backing up onto U.S. 26 eastbound.

In Gresham, Southeast Lusted Road is closed between Altman and Hosner roads due to a sinkhole. The hole is roughly 12 feet deep and six feet wide. The cause of the sinkhole is currently not known. Through traffic should use Southeast Dodge Park Boulevard or Oxbow Drive.

Strong, gusty winds continue to make travel difficult for high profile vehicles in and near the Gorge through Friday. Forecasters expect winds gusting to near 50 mph in east Portland and through the Gorge. Those towing trailers, driving tall RVs and other high profile vehicles should use caution.
