The Powerball jackpot has jumped to $310 million after no tickets matched all of the numbers in Saturday’s drawing.

Five tickets matched five of the numbers, though none of those were sold in New Jersey. Four of those tickets, all purchased in Puerto Rico, are worth $2 million each because the purchaser paid extra for the Power Play option. The other ticket, sold in Missouri, is worth $1 million.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 5, 9, 17, 37, 64, and the Powerball was 2.

The estimated cash value of the jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is $189.3 million.

The last jackpot winners were a couple from Pennsylvania who won the $121.6 million drawing Dec. 17. They chose the cash option and accepted a $72.1 million prize before taxes.

They purchased the ticket in Delaware, where state laws allow lottery winners to remain anonymous.

Last week, a $1 million ticket matching five numbers but not the Powerball was sold in Oakhurst, N.J.

The odds of a $2 ticket hitting the jackpot are more than 292 million to 1. The odds of matching five numbers but not the Powerball are 11,688,053 to 1.

Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The next drawing is Wednesday.
