MADRID, 14 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Prosegur will distribute a dividend of 36 million euros charged to voluntary reserves on December 21, as reported this Thursday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
The company agreed to pay this dividend, which amounts to 0.0661 euros for each share, at its general meeting of shareholders held on June 7.
Thus, according to the calendar published now, the last day of trading of the securities with the right to receive this dividend will be December 18.
Likewise, Prosegur has announced organizational changes for its 2024-2027 strategic plan.
In this way, Javier Cabrerizo assumes the role of CEO of Prosegur Alarms, Fernando Abós becomes CEO of Prosegur Security and Jaime Ron is appointed CEO of Prosegur Tech, all under the direction of the CEO of Prosegur, Christian Gut.
The group explained that these changes are designed “to enhance profitable business growth, sustainability and geographic and product diversification, preparing the company for future challenges with a strengthened management team.”
Specifically, Fernando Abós’ focus will be on expansion in the United States, in addition to strengthening the hybrid security model.
For his part, Javier Cabrerizo will work to promote the global growth of the alarms division and will be appointed president of Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, the company in which Telefónica and Prosegur jointly participate.
Jaime Ron will have the objective of accelerating the development and growth of the technology businesses Avos Tech and Cipher. With the creation of this new division, the company “reaffirms its commitment to technological innovation, presenting a unique and differential proposal to address the needs of the market,” as they explain in a statement.
In turn, Maite Rodríguez continues as global director of Finance and adds media management to her responsibilities, while Juan Luis Martín remains as global director of Human Resources and adds the direction of Marketing and External Communication to his responsibilities.
Additionally, Miguel Torres, head of IT, joins the management team.
