BARCELONA, 22 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, has assured that the European Commission has received “positively” the alternative proposals to tolls that the Government has made.
He said this this Friday in statements to the press before the holding of the informal Ministerial Transport meeting, which brought together around twenty ministers from the European Union (EU) at the modernist Sant Pau venue in Barcelona.
Sánchez explained that, among other options, the possibility of introducing railway co-incentives or subsidizing charges for the transport of goods by rail to encourage transport by train has been considered.
