MADRID, 19 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Renfe leads the sectoral ranking of the most responsible companies in passenger transport, according to the results of the Merco Responsibility ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) 2022 report.
The report, which prepares general and sectoral classifications, as well as on the environment; internal sphere, clients and society, and ethical level and governance, has once again placed Renfe in first place in passenger transport, as it did in 2021.
In addition, Renfe ranks 24th in the ranking of the 100 most responsible companies at a general level, two places above last year.
Likewise, the company is located in position 16 among the most responsible companies with the environment; in 26th place in the internal sphere, customers and society, and 34th in ethics and governance.
Given these results, Renfe has underlined its “firm vocation” of “fidelity” with the client and has highlighted that it has initiatives such as the Renfe Punctuality Commitment, by which it returns the total amount of the AVE ticket in delays of more than 30 minutes, and half for delays of more than 15 minutes.
