MADRID, 18 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Renfe will offer more than five million seats in the 25,000 trains that it will put into circulation this Christmas to meet the high demand of travelers in the upcoming holidays.
Specifically, Renfe will launch Operation Christmas, which includes the commissioning of more than 1,000 trains a day, in its AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed, Intercity, Avant and Media Distancia services, until January 9, 2023, as reported by the company in a statement.
The routes most in demand on these holidays are those that connect Madrid with Andalusia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community and Galicia, as well as the trains that link Catalonia and Andalusia and the Mediterranean corridor.
This Christmas offer on Renfe trains will avoid the circulation of 2.5 million cars, which represents a saving of close to four million liters of gasoline, and the corresponding reduction in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
