MADRID, 21 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Next January, Repsol will distribute a dividend of 0.4 euros gross per share, as the energy company reported to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) this Thursday.

Of this dividend amount, 0.025 gross euros per share will be charged to the results for fiscal year 2023, while the remaining 0.375 gross euros will be charged to free reserves.

The energy company had already advanced the remuneration objective for its more than 520,000 shareholders between 2024 and 2025 within its strategic plan, which it will review in the first quarter of next year after pulverizing all its objectives.

Thus, adding dividends and capital reductions, Repsol will have distributed close to 2.4 billion euros in the whole of 2023, as reported by the oil company at the end of last October.

Repsol obtained a net profit of 2,785 million euros in the first nine months of the year, which represents a drop of 14% compared to the same period in 2022, in a context marked by lower hydrocarbon prices and refining margins compared to last year, in which they skyrocketed due to the energy crisis after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
