Hundreds Sturdy Savings Bank customers have received the wrong bank statement in the mail, the Press of Atlantic City reported.
The wrong statements were sent only to a small portion of the Cape May Courthouse-based bank’s clientele because of a printing error, according to the Press of Atlantic City.
“Certain people got some information about one other customer on their statement,” bank president Gerald Reeves told the Press of AC. “It’s not a breach of any security in the computer system.”
Affected customers will be notified by phone and a letter with the correct statements will be mailed out soon, the report said.
Sturdy operates about a dozen branches in Cape May County.
