BRIDGEWATER – Crime Stoppers of Somerset County is offering a reward of up to $500 for information leading to arrest and conviction of the person who robbed the Finderne branch office of the Peapack-Gladstone Bank on Jan. 30, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said in a news release on Monday.

At approximately 3 p.m., township police responded to an alarm activation at the bank, located on East Main Street in the Finderne section of the township.
At the scene, responding officers met with bank employees who reported that a man approached a bank teller and handed them a note announcing the robbery.
Employees gave him an undisclosed amount of money and he fled on foot, the release stated.
The man has been described as white or Hispanic, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall to 5-feet, 10-inches tall, wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored Nike hooded sweatshirt, ski mask and red shoes. He was last seen fleeing in the direction of Finderne Avenue, according to the release.
Detectives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, Bridgewater police, Franklin Township field office, K-9 Units from Warren Township and the Bound Brook Police Department also responded to assist in the investigation.
