The Honduran earned the honor for a second time in about a month, as he received the accolade after a duel against FC Cincinnati in late May.

This time, Quioto stood out against Charlotte FC, which head coach Wilfried Nancy’s troops beat 2-1 on Saturday at Stade Saputo. The veteran played an active role in both goals for his side, who rank third in the Eastern Conference.

In the sixth minute, he completed a streak of Zachary Brault-Guillard and Victor Wanyama to take his tally to six this season. Then, in the second half, he was behind the decisive goal, that of Mathieu Choinière who fired a shot from the penalty area.

CF Montreal will visit the Seattle Sounders on Wednesday at 10 p.m. The game will be broadcast on TVA Sports
