Sateliot will launch this Tuesday, through SpaceX, its first low-orbit satellite that follows the 5G standard and will serve to connect IoT devices automatically when they do not have coverage.

This satellite will open the way to the constellation of 64 satellites that the company plans to launch over the next 18 months, according to the company in a statement.

The launch will take place from the Vandenberg Base of the United States Space Force, located in the state of California, at 8:45 a.m. Peninsular time and will be broadcast on the company’s YouTube channel.

The satellite, baptized as ‘The Groundbreaker’, has been decorated with a multi-colored dragon that spits fire, following the style of the artist Antoni Gaudí, a native of Barcelona, ​​where the company was founded.

Sateliot has a project portfolio of 1,200 million euros and aspires to reach 2026 with a turnover of 1,000 million euros and a gross operating profit (Ebitda) of 370 million euros.
