TRENTON — The state Senate on Monday voted 22-11, mostly along party lines, to pass a resolution denouncing President Donald Trump’s recent controversial executive orders on immigration.
Most Democrats — whose party controls the chamber — supported condemning the Republican president. No Republicans voted yes, while three abstained. One Democrat voted against the measure.
