MADRID, 28 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The digital insurer Smile, from the Helvetia group, has landed in Spain with the launch of civil liability insurance for electric scooters and other personal mobility vehicles, smile.mobility, as reported by the company in a press release.

The brand managed in Spain by Guido Candrian has highlighted that it is developing as planned and has assured that this represents another “important milestone” in the international deployment of Smile, after its entry into the Austrian market a year ago.

He has also detailed that civil liability insurance for electric scooters, e-bikes and other two- or three-wheeled personal mobility vehicles with a maximum speed of 25 kilometers per hour “is a first step to give Spanish customers access to the Smile’s unique value proposition.”

Looking ahead to next year, the company has explained that it plans to expand its product offering in collaboration with Caser and Helvetia Seguros.

Helvetia Group CEO Fabian Rupprecht explained that these customer-focused initiatives are “fully aligned” with the ‘Helvetia 20.25’ strategy.

Likewise, he considered that the company is taking advantage of new online sales opportunities with the digital insurer Smile, which represents “one more step” in the development of the European insurance group.

For his part, the CEO of Smile, Pierangelo Campopiano, has detailed that with the launch of Smile’s operations in Spain his commitment to the internationalization of the brand model is confirmed.
