MADRID, 13 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Soltec will supply 56 MW of its SF7 solar tracker on the island of O’ahu (Hawaii), as reported by the company, which has specified that the solar project is owned and operated by AES.

With this project, which will consist of 2,068 trackers and 108,192 modules, the company adds 210 MW in Hawaii.

Construction work on the plant is scheduled to start in April 2023 and finish by the end of the same year.

“With the supply of this photovoltaic project we continue to strengthen, not only our relationship with the largest players in the global market, but also our position in the United States. Only in Hawaii we already have projects on all the large islands: Kauai, Hawaii, Maui and Oahu,” said Soltec Vice President of North American Sales Colin Caufiled.

This plant will also have storage batteries, which allows greater security of the island’s electrical network.
