Nearly 140,000 BBVA customers have explored the functionality that the bank has included in its ‘app’ in which it explains to users the level of security against digital fraud and how to improve it with a series of recommendations, according to the financial institution. it’s a statement.
BBVA launched this functionality in October 2023. Since then, some 700,000 customers have consulted their profile and 20%, those 140,000 users, have carried out the bank’s recommendations.
Among these recommendations are some such as signing with biometrics, activating push notifications or reviewing the security tips, which serve to learn about the precautions that can be taken in terms of cybersecurity.
“BBVA seeks to provide ‘feedback’ to its clients and raise awareness about the importance of protecting themselves against the threats of the digital world, being an active part of this process. It also seeks to encourage a change in behavior among users,” the bank stressed.
