Kawhi Leonard did it again Monday night.
The Spurs’ All-Star forward and reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year did it with his offense again Monday, scoring 32 points in the Spurs’ 110-106 triumph over Indiana.
It marked Leonard’s 19th 30-point game this season.
Putting that number into context, Leonard had notched only seven 30-point games in the previous 399 regular-season and playoff games earlier in his career before this season.
But he started fast with a pair of 30-point games to open the season.
Later, he had six straight 30-point games from Jan. 10-21 and he has notched four more in the Spurs’ most recent four games after he sat out the opening game of the Rodeo Road Trip at Memphis last week.
It’s a strong binge that has him ranked seventh among the NBA players in their number of 30-point games this season.
