If the Bulls want to reach Dwyane Wade’s goal of breaking even on their six-game trip, they’ll need to overcome their shorthanded status.

Wade, Jimmy Butler, Nikola Mirotic and Paul Zipser all are out against the Timberwolves as the Bulls will dress 10 players on the final game of a trip that thus far has produced a 2-3 mark.

Butler’s right heel has worsened, according to coach Fred Hoiberg. Wade’s right wrist that he hurt during Friday’s loss to the Suns hasn’t improved. Mirotic woke up with back spasms. And Zipser, who already had a sore left ankle, is throwing up at the team hotel.

Tom Thibodeau is trying to sweep the season series against his former team.
