It has probably been a while since 35-year-old Dwyane Wade has been called a "baby" (wife Gabrielle Union notwithstanding), but when Charles Barkley starts talking, anything’s possible.

Barkley dismissed backlash from Wade, Draymond Green and other NBA players for his on-air critiques of LeBron James.

Last month, the TNT commentator and former Michael Jordan rival took James to task for demanding the Cavaliers add another "playmaker" to the roster. James called him a "hater" and Wade alluded to Barkley’s own shortcomings, saying, "Sometimes, when guys get a microphone in front of their face, they just talk and talk and talk and forget about their history."

Barkley told ESPN radio host Mike Greenberg, "This new generation, they all stick together, they all played together, they’re all AAU babies.

"So any type of criticism directed toward them, they consider it hate, even if it’s a fair criticism, they consider it hate," Barkley said. "So it does not bother me what the new generation thinks, to be honest with you. I know they all stick together."

We know Barkley last played in 2000, but does he really view Wade and James as a part of the "new generation?"
