This quote is Conor McGregor in a nutshell.

“It’s all in the nutsack,” McGregor said of his powerful left hand in an interview with GQ. “It’s all in the ball sack. I just have confidence that comes from my big ball sack, and I know when I smack you, you’re going down. And that’s it.”

McGregor, at his unfiltered boasting best, went on to explain the power generated by the bravery between his legs would be the key to winning a much-discussed boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.

“He’s got a little head on him,” McGregor said. “Honestly, my fist is bigger than his head. I sleep people. I put people unconscious. I’m stating facts. If I hit that man, his head is gonna go into the bleachers. You understand that? If I crack that little head of his, it’s gonna go clean off his shoulders and up into the bleachers.”

The loudmouthed Irishman’s taunts will just add fuel to the raging inferno of rumor that has engulfed the potential McGregor-Mayweather megabout.

On Tuesday night, the pair of boisterous self-promoters sniped at each other over social media after there were reports they had agreed to the fight.

“Although there has been several rumors circulating through media suggesting that I will have an upcoming fight, I’d like to set the record straight and state that there has been no deals made on my behalf in regards to a bout with any fighter at this time,” Mayweather wrote on Twitter.

“I am happily retired and enjoying my life. Rest assured that if any changes come about, I will be the first to let the world know!”

McGregor replied three hours later by tweeting a picture of himself in a throne with the caption, “I am in Las Vegas. Floyd has retired on my arrival.”

Beyond the fact that McGregor is a mixed martial artist and Mayweather is a pure boxer with a career 49-0 record, the biggest stumbling block for the megafight is McGregor still has four fights left on his exclusive combat sports contract with the UFC.

The UFC would have to sign off on any McGregor-Mayweather fight, and UFC president Dana White told TMZ Sports on Tuesday there was “no deal.”

Mayweather addressed that his final salvo early Wednesday:

White repeatedly has said a boxing match between his biggest star and Mayweather would never happen, though in January he did offer the fighters $25 million each for a boxing match. “Money” Mayweather literally laughed off the offer while calling White a “f—ing comedian.”
