When news started trickling out that the Sacramento Kings were trading DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans, the basketball world lit up social media.

Cousins, a three-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA selection, now will play alongside Anthony Davis, creating a formidable frontcourt.

NBA players and fans alike reacted to the deal, which sent Buddy Heild, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and 2017 first- and second-round picks to Sacramento in exchange for Cousins and swingman Omar Casspi.

Which team won the deal?

Early results say the Kings were “fleeced.”

Only time will tell, but early concensus is Kings got fleeced. Did they get even one starter? Certainly not an All-star.

I don’t even think @NBA2K would let that trade happen even with the trade override option off LOL
