Dwayne Bacon posed behind the three-point line with his shooting wrist bent, almost in disbelief he was left wide open with so much daylight.
After swishing his fifth 3-pointer of the game, Bacon took several steps backward, gave himself a quick pound to his chest with his right first, and was done savoring the moment.
Bacon tied a career-high with 29 points, as the No. 15 Florida State basketball team simply ran Clemson out of the Donald L. Tucker Center with a 109-61 blowout victory on Sunday afternoon.
FSU (20-4, 8-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) rode its leading scorer and received timely contributions from its loaded bench to secure the biggest win in ACC history since beating Virginia by 36 in 1994.
FSU led by as many as 51 points to win their 20th game of the season at the earliest point in program history. The Seminoles made 17 3-pointers and forced 22 Clemson turnovers.
The rising Seminoles continue to make a statement in the ACC, sitting just behind No. 12 North Carolina (20-4, 8-3) for second place in the conference standings.
FSU also won its 18th straight game at the Donald L. Tucker Center, dating back to last season.
FSU will host N.C. State (9-15, 3-8) on Wednesday before road games at Notre Dame on Friday, and Pittsburgh on Feb. 18.
