Now we know why Marshawn Lynch was dodging busses in Scotland.

The former Seahawks running back, who was seen popping wheelies on a bicycle in the middle of a quaint Scottish high street a couple of weeks ago, was apparently there on a mission from Skittles, his favorite brand of candy.

On Monday, Skittles released a video of Lynch sharing the joy of “tasting the rainbow” with residents of Houston, Scotland, a “village in the council area of Renfrewshire,” according to Wikipedia. The tie-in (it’s a stretch) is that this year’s Super Bowl will be held Sunday in Houston, Texas.

Get it? Houston-Houston. It’s funny. Or ironic. Or neither, but it did serve the purpose of putting “Beast Mode” into an unlikely setting, where amusing things often happen.

The 30-year-old has circled the globe since announcing his retirement via Twitter in February 2016, traveling to Egypt last year. The media-shy Lynch has also made several guest appearances on various television shows, as well as expanding his “Beast Mode” clothing brand.
