Tom Brady led one of the greatest comebacks in sports history lifting New England from a 25-point hole to the Patriots’ fifth NFL championship in the first Super Bowl decided in overtime.

Patriots’ Martellus Bennett celebrates Super Bowl LI win with daughter

The Patriots scored 19 points in the final quarter, including a pair of 2-point conversions, then marched relentlessly to James White’s 2-yard touchdown run in overtime to beat the Atlanta Falcons, 34-28, Sunday night in Super Bowl LI.

Brady earned a record fourth Super Bowl MVP award and a fifth Super Bowl ring, the most for a quarterback.

Bennett’s adorable daughter steals the show

Here’s what he had to say:

“There were a lot of plays that coach talks about, you never know which one is going to be the Super Bowl winner. “There were probably 30 of those plays tonight and (if) any one of those were different, the outcome could have been different.”

“It was hard to imagine us winning [when they were down, 28-3]. It took a lot of great plays and that’s why you play to the end.”

“This is unbelievable.”

“We’ve been on the other end of a few of those catches. [Julian Edelman’s catch against a defender’s foot] was one of the greatest catches I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how he caught it.”

What the Patriots said about Brady:

Amerdola: “He was the same as he always is, cool, calm and collected. He’s the leader, the general, the best ever, and that is the end of the story.”

White: “With Tom, we knew we had a shot the whole game. It was an amazing comeback by our team. It’s surreal right now. You couldn’t write this script.”
