Comments: The big news here was one of more startling results of the season – O’Grady’s 8-0 thumping of Glenn in the PIAA 3A final. The Blue Eagle had lost two bouts to Glenn, 2-1 and 4-1, in previous meetings before absolutely dominating Glenn in Hershey to finish a 4-0 week. O’Grady chalked it up to taking some time off and feeling fresh; that formula certainly worked as his major decision gave Nazareth a crucial team point. Jones, Manley and DeRosa all went undefeated in their state dual tournaments.
