HOUSTON — Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy says he has no idea if Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson will return to the Eagles this offseason.

Or, if he does, he isn’t telling.

“You’d have to ask him,” McCoy told NJ Advance Media.

According to NFL Network host Dan Hellie, McCoy spent part of a December Saturday night on Instagram Live, and may have dropped a hint about the chances of Jackson coming back to the Eagles.

Fast-forward to the Friday before Super Bowl LI and McCoy says he doesn’t have any inside information about his former teammate’s potential Eagles reunion.

Schefter: Everything in place for DeSean to Eagles

When asked about the Instagram Live video, McCoy denied making any bold predictions about Jackson’s future.

“I didn’t put that out there,” McCoy said. “You’re making that up. You’re making that up.”

Reports of McCoy’s original comments in the social media video sparked rampant speculation that Jackson to the Eagles could become a reality when free agency opens in March.

Even Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham sounded convinced in late December that Jackson was coming back.

“I’m just happy because I kind of knew already. I’ve talked to him. I talked to him when (head coach) Doug (Pederson) got hired. We have fun during the season. He’s like, ‘B.G. you know I’ll be back, man,'” Graham said on Comcast SportNet. “But now that it’s official, as far as the season about to be over, I think you’ll be hearing a lot of noise about DeSean. … I’m saying official as far as the end of season, now we’re going to really see.”

Free agency officially opens on March 9. Until then, let the speculation continue.
