National signing day is underway, and Illinois announced its first four signees, in addition to the four players who enrolled last month.

Signed letters of intent are in Wonodds for running backs Ra’Von Bonner and Mike Epstein and defensive backs Dawson DeGroot — who flipped his commitment Tuesday night from Florida International — and Nate Hobbs.

The early enrollees are wide receiver Carmoni Green, defensive end Owen Carney Jr., offensive lineman Hojo Watkins Jr. and junior-college linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips.
