CORVALLIS — Oregon State fell for the 10th game in row, losing Thursday to No. 5 Arizona 71-54 at Gill Coliseum after leading by two points at halftime.
Key run: Oregon State took a 34-32 lead when JaQuori McLaughlin pushed the ball in transition and found Kendal Manuel down the court for an open right corner three-pointer with 17:31 to play.
But Arizona bounced back with a 14-0 run that gave the Wildcats their largest lead of the night to that point. During that run, OSU went nearly six minutes without a point.
It was over when: Arizona forward Chance Comanche hit two free throws with 1:42 to play to give the Wildcats a 69-50 lead.
Key stats: Arizona outrebounded Oregon State 22-12 in the second half and shot 14 of 26 from the field in the final 20 minutes.
Top performances: Allonzo Trier had 18 points off the bench for Arizona, while Stephen Thompson Jr. led Oregon State with 16 points.
Next up: Oregon State (4-19, 0-10 Pac-12) will host Arizona State at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gill Coliseum.
