Oregon State will play a doubleheader Friday to open the 2017 season in preparation of inclement weather expected to hit Arizona the following day.
The Beavers, who were originally set to play Indiana on Saturday, will now face the Hoosiers to start the season at 9 a.m. (Pacific Time) Friday. They will then play their originally scheduled game against Duke at 1 p.m., instead of noon.
Forecasts from Weather.com show a 100 percent chance of rain Saturday in Surprise, Arizona, where OSU will play its first eight games of the season.
Both games Friday will not be televised but the audio stream is available at osubeavers.com.
